Thank you for visiting the new House of Time, LLC. 2020 brings a large change to our company. In 2005, my family purchased the business from the son of the original Lentz family.
I stepped away from House of Time in 2012 to work as first a watchmaker, then a technical trainer, and finally a technical supervisor for Richemont North America, the parent company of many prestigious brands, including Cartier, Baume et Mercier and IWC.
After 7 great years at Richemont, I have returned to House of Time as the Technical and Operations Manager. Vern - my wife who has assumed the role of Sales and Social Media Manager - and I will be transforming the business over the next 12 months to finally bring House of Time into he 21st century.
Over the next few months, we will be posting on our blog topics related. Here are a few topic examples:
1) Our qualifications and certifications
2) Comprehensive description of our services
3) Brands with who sell us spare parts
4) A series on our major equipment
In addition to our fresh take on our social media presence (Facebook and Instagram), we want to use of technology to bringing us back to our original cause:
Our driving mission is to preserve history. We want our team to celebrate with our customers the beauty and pride of a timepiece and family heirloom. These important watches and clocks tell time and also connect us to specific times, places or people of our past.Â
We want to do all this while honoring our responsibilities to our customers, employees, suppliers, and community. They help us connect also to where and who we are today.Â
I hope you find our cause just and find our team worthy of the challenge.
We are excited to undertake this journey; it would be an honor for you to join us.
